| This is the area where essential Level III core material is explored. You will also have additional material to supplement your studies.... In this course, we will learn about the world and its people. Beginning with ancient times, we will look at the Egyptian empire, India, China. Greece and Rome. In the "Middle Centuries, we will look at Byzantium, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Finally, we will examine the rise of the modern era. This course focuses on the Americas: Canada, Latin America, Mexico, Central America, The Caribbean, and South America. Our work will build on previously learned skills such as map reading, research, and creative expression.
